You need a Cozify smart hub with a Premium subscription, an hourly spot-price based energy deal (influence on your energy bill), and a Cozify supported and connected device to you Cozify hub, e.g. (esim. geo thermal heating unit / air heat pump / electric radiator). In addition to choosing ON/OFF-devices and relay controlled devices for the rule, you can also choose scenes that are able to set your devices to more optimized settings and states than just ON/OFF. You are also able to receive notifications on each day's most cheap and most costly spot-hours.
The rule automatically turns on devices/scenes for a desired duration of time for the cheapest spot-hours of the day. You can easily control the rule with your Cozify mobile app without programming skills.
Optimizing your energy usage to the cheapest spot-price hours enables you to gain possibly signicant savings in your monthly energy bill.
In addition to a Cozify smart hub you'll need a Cozify support device connection that enables you to add the device to the rule. Depending on the device, the devices can be controlled as follows:
Direct connection to the device's settings (recommended), e.g. thermostats and other devices that are NOT recommend to be contolled switching power ON/OFF.
Check always from the device manufacturer that is this device suitable for smart home / home automation controlling (This might be mentioned in the device manual with term such as "Smart connection" or similar - the connection is often formed via wired ModBus conncetion or via a connection device like AirPatrol controller)).
Examples of supported devices:
Add devices to the rule that can be controlled via dry contact relay (open/close), if the device supports it.
Check always from the device manufacturer that is this device suitable for smart home / home automation controlling (This might be mentioned in the device manual with term such as “Electricity exchange" or similar device specic connection dedicated for this use).
Examples of supported devices:
Devices that's power is controlled via relay or smart power outlet (water boiler) and smart devices that have a smart ON/OFF functionalty (smart lights, smart plugs).
Check always from the device manufacturer that is this device suitable for controlling via ON/OFF (All devices are not recommended to be controlled via powering them ON/OFF).

First check from the device manual / manufacturer what is the best method to control your device regarding the exhange electricity, and ensure your device's compatibility with your Cozify hub (ION/HUB/ZEN/DIN).
Cozify ION is a DYI installable version of Cozify hub. Cozify ZEN can be only installed by a professional electrician. Cozify ZEN enables the widest connection possibilities heating devices via relay connections and ModBus -connections.

You'll be able to control your devices from the mobile user interface without programming skills.
Choose the devices: Control devices according to the electricity exchange spot price
Choose yo the rule ON/OFF -devices, dry contact relay devices, or scenes to set the desired settings for the cheapest priced hours in your Cozify mobile app.
Set duration and excemptions: Time and excemptions during which the device or scene is on during the cheapest spot price hours.
You can choose excemptions that divert the rule's settings ensuring that your house's temperature and humidity stay within desired threshold.
Choose recipients: Receive notifications
Notifications of excemptions, and about the cheapest and most expensive energy hours during the day. Note: You can also set lights to a desired indication state, by choosing scenes you set for ligths to signal e.g. the cheapest energy hours per day.
E.g. optimizing the heating devices, washing machine or sauna usage to the cheapest energy hours can result in significant cost savings in your energy bill.
